Gay Days

Beaches, Booze, and Boys (well, hopefully men I'm not into that smooth prepubescent look) I'm heading down to Pensacola today with some friends. Apparently the gay population in Pensacola skyrockets over Memorial Day weekend. I've seen figures around 50,000. It's a little different than when >50,000 gay people come to Atlanta for Pride (which is July 4th weekend this year), because I don't know that Pensacola has a large local gay population. Although a quick Google search showed that it ranked 34th in the number of gay veterans (I know it's a weird stat). Plus, Atlanta has so many people that an extra 50,000 isn't that noticeable. Anyway, I'm rambling. I have a few minutes to kill before my ride gets here. I'm looking forward to seeing a new city and meeting some new people.
