Thanksgiving ... Check

I had a great thanksgiving. It wasn't too stressful. I think coming home on Saturday as opposed to Sunday was a great idea. I enjoy spending time with my family, but it is much nicer to get back to Atlanta a day early and relax before returning to work on Monday.

I arrived on Wednesday night. Grandma spent the night at my parents house. We all had dinner and a couple drinks before going to bed.

Almost my whole family (mom's side) was at Thanksgiving dinner. I think there was a total of 18 of us. There was very little drama this year. That's always a good thing in my book. I hate being stressed out because someone is acting like an ass.

My mom had off of work on Friday so I hung out with her all day. We watched TV and then I got suckered into going "knick-knacking" with her. It wasn't too bad. We only went to one store. I bought some tea.

I flew back to town on Saturday night. I manage to get delayed every time I fly back from somewhere. This time I was only delayed for an hour. Of course they get us all onto the plane early, because we might be able to take off. A few minutes before our intended take off we get delayed by 40 minutes. Oh well, I always bring something to do. The restaurants in the airport had all already closed, so there was nothing to do off of the plane anyway.

So that's Thanksgiving.
One holiday down and one more to go before celebrating the end of this year and the beginning of a new year.
